You wont really notice it until you do some mods... like a tune or/ and especially with a cold air intake setup... When set to stock the knock / hesitation is ALOT less but still present..... If u were to put some mods on it.. its gonan get ALOT worst.... Def. knocking on the driverside... I am thinking plugs....

I am thinkin that if we start spreadin the word... I have the errrrry feeling that those U-shaped - ground strap platnum spark plugs they have in there dont work as well as they are supposed to...

What kind of Predator do you have, U7140 or CL7140? The CL7140 boots with the C&L logo. You may want to make sure you have the latest revision for your predator, who knows DSP may know about the problem and have made adjustments to correct it. If it has to do with the factory tune it may just not have been corrected with the original tune on your predator. Just my $.02.

I have the factory diablo tuner... and I downloaded the predator tune offline. I called JPC preformance today... the guys who built the 10 second 2005 mustang in the months magazine of Fast Fords... Taked to Justion the owner of the operation lookin for some insight into the issue...... AND GUESS WHAT!......... This was the third call this week about the same problem... Knock / hesitation high end power.... " a loud misfire" - throwing NO check engine light and causing a serious hesiation/a loss of power. I guess the other people are headed to the dealer too so hopefully soon we will see various dealer opinions. The other guys pulled there plugs out and noticed a fairly extreme rich condition... possible fouling of the plugs ( as well as I did). I dunnnno... something is sureeeeely funky....

Not really sure... I believe one other kid ws using the predator.. but noticed the hesitation under stock tune as well.....

I am starting to hear more and more information on the sensativaty the oxygen sensors in our cars have to not being tuned properly.... trying to adjust the diablo alittle rich can lead to fouled plugs and blown oxygen sensors in a VERY short period of time. My car goes wednesday morning for a whole ISH load of items to be checked and tightened.... so i wil update soon...

i have knock with 100% pristine, virgin stock tune on a chip that has never been reflashed. hesitation isn't noticeable, but the knock is. tends to happen in 3rd / 4th above 4500rpm at WOT, especially when you get on the gas hard.

knock a little better with 89octane but not eliminated entirely.

i haven't tried TCS on/off comparisons. will try it this week and post the results.
