I got the cordless because... its cordless? I didn't want cords strewn all over the cockpit. Besides, when I got on roadtrips, I have enough cords with the XM MiFi, (awesome for roatrips, I recomend!). I would LOVE to have it installed in the overhead unit like one thread talks about, but I KNOW I would screw that up...

You at Tinker? I have travelled I40 many many times... From Kingman AZ to Knoxville TN...

Yeah I thought about the cordless, but was afraid I would forget to turn it off a least once a week and would be buying lots of batteries. I plan on hard wiring. Still working on the concealment aspect.

Oh, and yes I'm at Tinker unfortunately. Been trying to get down to Hurlburt as an FE on Spectres for years. Once your in awacs your doomed to fly in circles until retirement.

heh... when the drop comes in Nav school, the "wacker" is pretty far down the list, (all manner of -130's generally go first)...

We are pretty short manned in the Herk, so don't give up. I promise you will enjoy it, (even if you go to slicks... better than wackers by a long shot)... at least Little Rock is better than OK City...

The cordless has a battery saving feature. It turns itself off after it senses the vehicle has not moved in 20 minutes. I am not sure *how* it does it... maybe it turns itself off after not sensing ANYTHING in 20 minutes? In that case, your household motion sensors could screw it up... unless the detector takes signal variance into account...

Perfect fit for you!

BTW, the announcer at the track last night kept referring to my car as that "Bad 05 GT"... had to chuckle about that one.

Think about it...

hehe... did that get through the censors at CA DMV? Or are you just making a suggestion?

BTW, have you read the CA DMV rules for personalized plates? They say that you can only use the number 69 in your plate if it is going on 1969 model year vehicle. That's too funny. bwahahaha.

Follow "GT SPOT" with "OOOOOOH" or "O Face".
If your nickname is Woody - can you get a tag with that on it anywhere?

I'll probably break down and get "WLDSTNG" since that's what I've wanted for almost 12 years
now. But, I sure hate paying an extra $50 to the DMV; PLUS the wait; PLUS I work on a Gov't
facility and have to go through the hassle of registering temps until the real thing comes in.
Dang - It just may not be worth it. [:@]

I guess if you really wanted 69 you could go with 1000101
