I have an unbelievable story from a salesman.

I have a friend who has a v6 in Austin, he had his wife go get their windows tinted from a guy at the local dealership. This guy said he could sell her a GT for 18,500 and a V6 for 12,500 out the door. That's right, a GT for 18,500. I told my friend to get his backside to the dealer NOW, buy it at that price and sell it on ebay for a 5-6k profit (If not more). I called BS as soon as I heard teh story. My buddy has alrdy went and obtained financing to get the car and is going to try to make the deal Saturday morning. Told him he was an idiot if he didn't.

I wonder if they are '05's or '04's. If someone just wanted a great looking car and wasn't concerned about the retro look, new stuff, etc. of the '05's you could get a super smokin' deal on an '04.

Well, the saleman claimed that they did that when they first hit the showroom floor, but can't do it any more. Then he tried to sell him one for 3 over sticker, I fell over laughing!!!

They will try anything to get em in the door.

Yes these were 05s
