Default RoushCharger deal...worth it??

I think I can pick up a 4,000 mile old RoushCharger with 2.5 years left on the warranty from a local guy. I can probably pick up the whole setup for $3200-3400. It also comes with a pulley upgrade that runs 10lb of boost. It also comes with the Steeda Cold air kit and Mass Air Meter. Is this worth the money?

not many people want this SC bc it's small and not too much potential for bigger hp. offer him less $1500-$2000, then it would be worth it.

That isn't a bad price for that considering he probably paid more than double what he is asking. But there are much better options, especially if you have higher horsepower goals in the future.

Not when you can get a Paxton Throwback or Vortech V3 which is upgradable and has more power potential for 3899.

You will also have to worry about all the little parts he might not have.

I would think you might be able to pick it up for around $2500. I'm pretty happy with my M90 Roushcharger and an pretty well maxed out at 443rwhp. You could try to sqeeze a liitle more out of it, but the extra heat that would be generated kind of makes it a waste.

I agree with the others....low ball him and see if he takes the bait...if not...look into other options IMO

The roush supercharger warranty is NOT transferable from one vehicle to another, and used superchargers are too likely to have issues. Walk.

Not always...

But yeah man WALK!!! If you really are looking to spend $3200-$4000 then just save your money for a better deal. You can get a Saleen for that price, and every once in a while a KB or Whipple will pop up. Of if you save a little more you can wait for that really GREAT deal like the whipple in the classified that is brand new, polished for $5k.

But WALK unless it's like $2k...

Yeah I saw that deal! I want it badly for that's about $2000 more than I was planning on spending right now. Ah well, thanks for all the advice!

I am sure you want a blower bad. Most do... I also understand the want to have it NOW. Most do... But like I said be patient and just continue to save up that $2000 that you are short for a bigger blower. You won't regret doing it and I am sure you will get a better deal in the end. Like I said, I have seen a Saleen go for $3200 in the past couple months and the Saleen is FAR SUPERIOR to the ROUSH.

It has taken me 4 years to be in a position to buy a blower...
