Whipple crew help... boost loss? 4th gear pull
So I did a couple 4th gear pulls on the highway and once I reached 4000 rpm the rpms stopped climbing like the belt was slipping, lack of fuel, or something. I know I have some clutch slippage when I WOTin 5th gear, but also get some vibes in 5th when I get into it (don't know if that is a symptom, normal, or something entirely different). Any insights?

Most likely belt slippage. You have the expensive way to fix this with the Steeda belt tensioner (but you'll need a tune update as it increases the boost) or the cheap way (less than $100) with a regular belt tensioner. Any good mechanic can do this.

dont think its belt slipping. if it were, the rpms would still climb, you just wouldn't go any faster. i felt my clutch slipping before i changed it and the rpms climb but no power as well. not sure what your problem is....does it bog at 4k rpm? or any other symptoms? boost is ok? so if you floor it in 4th the rpm's just stop at 4k? how's the a/f? are you going WOT in the other gears and no problems?

I agree that it is most likely belt slip. Second most likely issue is clutch. Also, and I hate to even ask this, did you replace your COPs?

COPs are stockers. The car had all of this on it when I got it except the shifter.
