Yeah, I'll try turning off the O/D tomorrow, thanks. Was also thinking about raising the 1-2 shift point a couple MPH's b/c there's no 2nd gear chirp either, but it seems to shift at redline.

I was thinking of asking this also. My manual 05 won't even come close. I tried in the rain the other day, it was gonna take some major effort even then. Car runs good though. I think I'll get a check because it seems like it smokes at start up after sitting overnight. Looks like smoke anyway, even in the heat of the day.

I tried today with O/D off, no luck.
Soon I'm going to try to dyno tune the car, thinking about contacting Powersurge Performance for this. INtend on getting the future BBK TB and probably the spacer too. Daunted with the idea of getting that setup that you have jho2theizzo, but the thought of the addtnl $$$ doesn't make sense to me. Especially since my set up should be doing the same thing. I post if anything changes. Thanks.

Dude those tires will burn it just depends on what pavement your trying it. Mine burns on all kinds of pavement but the other day I tried at my ex-wifes' house and it didn't. Oh well[&:]

I dont have much room in this thread since I have a 5-speed but, FYI (without using the clutch) in first gear even rolling about 10 mph when I mash the gas, it roasts the tires for about 20 ft. I run the XCal2.

I wonder if the xcal really does make more power? I doubt it b/c both manufacturers claim they do the same thing. I mean they both have the same limited amount of parameters to work with. I'd LOVE to see some back to back dyno runs to settle all this.
Anyway I contacted Powersurge Performance here on LI and i'll be stopping by there today. they said they can do a custom tune and they're a chipmaster revolution dealer. i'll keep my fingers crossed.
