We are def getting a 2011 or 2012 5.0, but I am going to wait another year and pick up a used one to save a few $$. Also I prefer a hard top coupe so that is what I am getting. It will be an Auto so she can drive it, but I get to put a Kenne Bell on it..!!!!

So I will have to wait another year to roll into Mustang Week and SmokinStangs Laconia with a Blown Old School 5.0 and a Blown New School 5.0-it will be worth the wait I think.

Thanks for all the convincing.
Glad to see that you will one day join the ranks of Coyote owners. And yes, you will not regret having a Coyote along side your 5.0 Fox, the best of both worlds indeed. As a very small child, I dreamt of one day owning a Fox, but I instead own a Coyote and love everything about it.

I still long for a Fox 5.0, and I see people down the road selling theirs, but I am too broke to buy it
You on the other hand will have the benefit of both!

I can say this, in high school, I wanted a GT mustang so bad it was all I could think about. To make matters worse, by best friend had one (2001 coupe, silver) and had full exhaust, gears, short throw, CAI, etc. and I was crazy jealous. I had a '03 V6 (which for being a high school student was still awesome), but man, I longed for the power and sound of the GT. After years of waiting, my chance came along so I took it. My 2011 5.0 has made me happier than I could have ever hoped to have been. Well worth the wait. The best thing is going out to the garage and cranking it up (cold start) when I go to work in the morning. Can't help but put a huge s***-eating grin on my face. ~400 HP right off the lot? You used to not even get those numbers with Cobras!
