Whats the best sounding axle back?
I've heard all the vidoes from different manufactuers but impossible to hear them all in person. Ilways been a fan of flowmaster. Is the hushpower cool sounding and does it drone?

If you plan on headers or cams down the road do even bother changing your exhaust out now. Chances are you"ll want to quiet it down then. LOL
Flowmaster American Thunder do sound good with no drone. Listening to clips on youtube with headphones will give you the best idea of tone.

do you care about mufflers or not? If not, I had pypes pype bomb on my 08 and if I get a '12 I plan on getting them again. I loved the sound and it looks very nice and was a breeze to install. They provided very good install instructions and everything was packaged very well.

The best sounding? Whatever you prefer because it's all personal preferance. I do love Flowmaster sound but I wanted something different this time on my 06 GT I put Pypes long tube headers with offroad H pipe up to Bassani Street exhaust and I have yet to hear another S197 sound nearly as good. In my personal opinion....

Roush axlebacks. Some of the cheapest in price and best sounding IMO. They have a nice mellow idle, are quiet when you are going down the highway, have a nice clean sound that will let people know what's up during normal acceleration, no drone and they absolutely rip when you go WOT.

There is no best sounding.
They give different sounds and it's all about which you prefer.
Listen to sound clips on the net but that wont give you a real exact accurate sound as far as real life.
They are a good way to get a general idea though. Clips of exhaust running in garages though are THE WORST to hear on video when looking
for accurate real world sound though so be wary of that. Sometimes the video quality is a good hint as to if the sound quality of the video is good as well.
I would try to find some friends with different exhaust setups and listen to them or go to a Mustang car show and have the owners crank up their cars.

Pypes LTs, Xpipe, and Violater mufflers,
The cats are Magnaflow metallic.
Here is a little better video, with a proper HD camera.
