Seems to me but the more you travel south on the highways/turnpikes the more mustangs you will see.Harsh winter weather where i live the classics are put into storage.

I agree, but that wouldn't explain why you would see more of one muscle car versus another.

Production numbers for 2011 mustangs around 70,000 (alas, not that exclusive a club). That is about half though of some other years...like 150,000+ for 2007. So not suprising seems to be a mustang at every intersection. Starting to see camaros but not nearly as many mustangs.

Mostly V6 Camaros with sunroofs around here (lame), a few Challengers (one srt8 that the lady parks in the handicap spot at our local Wal-Mart??). Quite a few Mustangs...mainly V6 S197s & NE GTs though, only seen maybe 2 5.0s, one still had paper tags on it.

I've owned 3 camaros in my short time and loved all of them but the current gen is just ugly...especially when compared to the stang or challenger. Even with the amazing drivetrain I can't believe they're selling like they are.

Saw two '10+ sixxers on the interstate today. Rode side by side with one of them for nearly 50 miles until we hit Waco and turned off. I have not seen another 5.0 Coyote in 2 months now.

All this time, I did see a suprising amount of Challengers mostly sixxers) in the Austin and San Antonio area. More so than 'Stangs and Camaros

It seems to be the oposite on any AFB I visit.
A few Camaros, yet everywhere you look, there's a Mustang in view. I parked next to (I kid you not) 6 in a row today at the BX.
The AF needs to just issue people a standard issue Mustang upon enlistment.

I think we do that on purpose, every time I get off of work on base there's another Mustang next to mine, today it was a 66 convertible.

Challengers come in after camaros.
Just on observation,I am kind of enjoying my exclusivity and smile everyone I see another camaro go by,driver breaking his neck to get a look at my little stang!

You're not imagining things. Camaro's are outselling Mustangs, but not by much. It's a little bit of a fad right now. Plus, supply hasn't been very good on GT Mustangs. I've had a difficult time finding base GT's. Ford could sell a whole bunch more of these if they stocked the dealers properly.
