Default how far can you stroke a 4.6L

okay jus found out my motor was already stroke to 5liters how much more wall i have to stroke it

Not sure the limits, but why would you want to?

Pretty certain you have forged internals perfect for that supercharger... crank up the boost and get it tuned if you want more power

3.8 is the largest stroke you can use with the 4.6 block.

My tuner who has tune 100s of cars tells me stroking on a boosted car is a waste. The added friction and lower RPM from stroking looses more HP than is gained from the added stroke. You're safer and will make more power leaving the stroke alone.

thanks guys they breaking the motor down hopefully the block still in good condition. if is not im gonna have to go with another block what liter i dont. but im going with all forged parts to handle the boost. another problem the belt from the supercharger was slipping around 5 rpm its making about 15 to 18 pounds of boost. techo is out of business and im thinking i have to go with a bigger pulley for lesser boost.

Figured that would help.

Strokers make big torque when supercharged so I think its a good match
