Default Tires (Brand and Model)

So what does everyone like for tires. I'm not asking about fitment as I'll be sticking w/ the stock 19", but I'm more interested in brands and models.

Thanks in advance.

Well I run aftermarket 19's in the summer. So far I've only ran Kumho Ecsta SPT, but I really liked them. They werent loud, great traction, and a good looking tread design. I'd buy them again.

I'm running the stock Pirelli P-Zero's and can't say that I"m impressed. 13k miles in and they seem to nearly toast. Never had the best grip to begin with either.

I will be getting Nitto NT555's to replace the stock Pirelli's. I think they are the most reasonably priced high performance summer tires.

I don't know why Ford switched from the BGF KDWS my 08 came with, to Pirelli's. I didn't feel like paying $260 a tire for all seasons (KDWS) when I wore them out so I opted for the Pirelli's that are now standard for $160 a tire. My overall impression of the Pirellie PZero, Yuck!

They are quiet and do better than the KDWS in the rain, but their dry traction is for chit! I'm an auto tranny and under any moderate acceleration from a stop or if the car shifts from 1-2 under heavy acceleartion the rear lets loose, and I have Stock 331 gears!

I'll have to pony up I guess and get some real Summer tires (or way better All seasons) for my next set.

My racing tires are Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08. They have a lot of dry performance. I've never driven them in the rain and they aren't very loud. But they are not for winter use at all.

I just put a set of Falken PT722's on and so far I like them. They are multi-directional tire so they can be rotated side to side and crossed.

I'm not familiar with the roads and weather conditions in North Carolina, but check out Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo tires. They are an excellent road course track/street tire.
If you drag race, then Nitto NT05R, (competition drag radials). NT05 for road course. NT555 for a really nice all around. Nitto tires are very popular with the local Shelby Club.

i hated the BFG kdws all seasons that came on the car...wanted something with more aggressive look and summer tire performance. I chose the BFG KDW's (flame pattern tread) and love them. look great and plenty of additional dry and wet traction.
