Default Sloppy MT82 shifting gone - Steeda

I had the Steeda Tri-Ax short shifter with the base bracket installed . My thoughts after driving it around town.

Night and freaking day. One of my gripes on this car was the sloppy and crunchy shifting on this 2013 Mustang GT MT82.

Shifting is 85% better. shifts are about 40% shorter.

I am not saying that the Steeda shifter is the best out there BUT it is head and shoulders better than stock. Worth the $$ to invest on this mod. Makes the car a lot more enjoyable to driver.

If you are worried about your warranty welllll keep worrying and suffering through the horrid stock shifter.

I replaced mine with an MGW, sorry Steeda! Reguardless you now have a pretty good AMERICAN MADE shifter. It is unbelievable the difference in how it can change you driving enjoyment. I hated the fact that it seemed that I could not drive a manual. Too many 1-4, 2-5, & 5-4 skipped shifts for me. Glad you are enjoying it!

yea I love my new MGW as well. Anything is better than the stock shifter. I have not missed one gear since the install. Now to get better tranny fluid and quiet some of the gear noise.

I replaced my transmission fluid with Redline MTL. When the transmssion warms a little, the whole rowing through the gears is much better and fun.
