Anyone running BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2's?
I am about to buy some new tires. I have run Nitto's for a while now (both 555's and Invo's) but I would like to know the forums' thoughts on the BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2's. Have any of you run them on your S197? If so, what do you think of the tire?

I have them. I bought them for my 2014 Track Pack GT. I put 10k miles on the car last summer, and the OE Pirellis were down to half tread or so. They came up on a smoking deal through work so I nabbed a set and tossed the OE ones in the attic.
I upsized to a 275/40/19. Grip seems to be nearly identical to the OE tires with the size increase, although I put them on end of season and never got an autocross attempt on them for 10/10th feel. If I had stayed with the 255 I am sure I would have lost a bit of grip over the quite soft and sticky Track Pack compound Pirellis though, based on spirited driving and hammering on it from a stop.
These should easily last 2 or 3 times as long as the softies though, based on treadwear rating and user reports online. So it's a pretty decent compromise I think. No complaints about noise, they worked awesome the one time I had them in the rain. One big thing I like better then the OE tires is they have a bit of audio feedback at the limit. The Pirellis are nearly silent even up to and past breakaway. These aren't Beluga whale howlers, but they do give you a little hint of tire noise when they near the limit. I actually appreciate that on the street.
I might grab some rims to run the OEs when I autocross next summer though. Might as well use them up for something.
