I'm strongly considering GT500 style stripes, but I'm wondering what stripe width you folks are using where the stripes clear the vents on our hoods. Ideally it would look something like this:

10" wide with a 1" gap.
Just installed the Roush hood scoop, so this should give you a good idea of how wide they are

Here's mine.
I went with the 10" matte black stripes from AM...~2" gap.

Black with matte black stripes looks fantastic, in my opinion. It's what I was going to go with before I saw DIB in person.

My opinion is Alloy stripes are the ONLY ones for black cars...

Well those came as one of the stripe options on the 08 GT 500. I am not sure where you can find them...but they have a different look in different lights...not a true silver color... hope you can find them!
