Welcome to the forum!

Do you have any mods? Have you tried a different brand of fuel? Higher octane fuel? Are you using the correct weight oil? Correct oil level?

If you can try to get an audio recording and upload to youtube, it will help tremendously

Thumbs up Cant tell whats causing knock or tick.

Thx for the welcome... My car is bone stock only have an Exedy stage 2 clutch. Currently have royal purple 5w-20. I'm due for an oil change I might do that today. Oil levels on dip stick seem good but a lil odd. And I will try to get a recording up ASAP . And thx for the reply

Something I noticed when I changed my clutch (Exedy as well), When I reattached the midpipe, I didn't get the line up properly, and when turning sharp to the right (mine was right side midpipe) the pipe actually vibrated against the frame. Sometimes after coming to a stop/straightening out, the same, it would vibrate a little while and stop. This may be PART of the problem (best way is to get it in the air and check) Ford taking the mid-pipe hangers out was retarded IMHO, I've now been finetuning the position for the last 4-5 months to keep the prochamber from scraping... As for clicking, the fuel injectors for these cars are notoriously loud as well, and it MAY be normal, but again, that recording will help with that

Default solution FINALLY

thanks for the advice ill look into that if i still hear the rattle. Actually just found a crack in my oil pan. i didnt notice the oil leak because directly under that general area is a weird drain. So i was actually low on oil not too low but definetly low. i drained the rest and replaced the pan and added fresh oil with additive for lifters and shes running smooth again. dont really know how i might of cracked the oil pan but atleast i was able to solve the problem.

The only way I can think of cracking the oil pan is that you hit something; maybe came down on a raised manhole or something. Can you post pics? Hearing that is a first for me.

i might not have seemed clear when i wrote that when i was talking about the drain i meant on the ground like a storm drain so there were no oil stains to tell me i had a leak. but the cracked pan is at my brothers house ill post pics up tomorrow.
