Hey guys and girls,

I have a 2007 Ford Mustang Gt, My engine light (the car feels like it is missing) came on so I did the normal and went to my local parts store to get the code.

It was cylinder 2.

Bad Spark plug, plug wires, coil pack, fuel injectors, valve problem, or vacuum leak,

The spark plug, wires, and fuel filter are about 15,000 miles old

I just changed the fuel injectors to ford racing 24, with engine tune

Have not changed the coil pack

....

I changed the fuel injectors this past weekend, with engine tune, the engine light stayed off for 2 days, the car ran really well, I did drop 1mpg on my fuel millage but that was to be expected. Then on day 3 the missing starts and the engine light either blinks or stays on.

any ideas??????????????

Go back to the stock tune and injectors and see if the code is repeatable. FWIW, the FRPP injectors are no better than stock and I'm guessing the tune could be your problem. Who's tune is it? There are good tunes and bad tunes out there. Brenspeed, AM/BAMA and a few others write great tunes. The FRPP tune is weak and not worth the effort.

Bama tune

Got it through American muscle when I upgraded air intake and exhaust. Ran fine with that tune for 6 months. The engine light came on "staying lit" took it to get the code and they said cylinder 2, I checked the plug, replaced the plug wire, then changed the fuel injectors, the upgrade was cheaper than buying stock ones, called Bama and they redid my tune, applied the new tune, ran great for 2 days, third day light is now blinking and it's running bad
