Default 2007 GT convertible TOP problem

Hi, I've got 2 different 07 Mustang GT's. One is a convertible I just bought for my niece to drive and the back glass is coming unglued. I think I can fix that by releasing the top and reglueing it I guess,
I would like to hear other suggestions??

But the Main problem is the top will not go Up or Dwn sometimes?? When I bought it I tried it several times and it worked great, as soon as I got it home and tried to make it go down. I pushed the button and could hear a click sound but it wouldn't move? Then one time it went down, but when I mashed button to bring it up I could hear sound but it wouldn't go back UP!
I'm guessing the top motor is working because of the clicking sound its making, any suggestions would be helpful. THANKS

there are 2 separate issues that are unrelated. 1 being your rear window coming unglued. there are several posts on here and other forums that address just the window, some with good results. IIRC, to "glue" the window back in the top you need to use auto epoxy (not sure the correct name) its a 2 part adhesive that mixes in the nozzle. stay away from silicone based adhesives as they will not cure properly for the correct adhesion. you want something like what is used to hold the windshield in but a bit more flexible I believe. problem 2 the top uses an electric over hydraulic system to raise and lower the top. if it works some of the time then I would think the hydraulic components are ok. so that leaves the electric switches and relays. could be as simple as the up/down switch is going out. here is a wiring diagram for the electrical system for the convertible top. this is 05' so wire colors may vary. good luck
