Top down oil change using pump extractor

There is something I like about changing my own oil. For one you cannot put the wrong oil in or amount or perhaps the filter they install is loose or the filter seal is still stuck to the filter mount and they didn't catch it or there are leaks they didn't catch. If my car was mediocre or crappy I could care less who changed my oil and I'd rather not have mechanics drive my car and it being a manual trans I just don't trust there driving ability. If it's a major repair then I have no choice but oil changes are common. I had oil changed once and oil dripped around my engine bay which would be nice if they'd cleaned it. I installed an easy purge drain valve so changing oil is very easy, just turn the lever so while it is draining I'll change filter.
