Going to be putting all new doors on my friend's 91. He's got alarm problems caused by warping of the metal and fiberglass. I'm either going to reshape them or replace them.
how is he having alarm problems? I'm not much for car alarms but does he have magnetic sensors or something to show a door being opened? Unless he has aftermarket parts, there is no fiberglass on a fox body...

Ok, so again....what fiberglass are you talking about??? ....or are you just talking out your a$$? lol how are you gonna confuse alarms and weather stripping? Never seen doors warp unless they have been through a fire or accident. If its the tops of the doors only you can adjust the top of the door by bending the rail in some. Most likely he just needs new weather stripping.

I'm checking out everything tomorrow. For all I know at this point it could be an electrical fault. He said new doors - when I made my original post - I was just going off of what he said.
The doors are off the wrong year car anyhow. I'm going to be looking into whether or not there is a difference between the doors on a 91 and the 90' doors he has on it.
I haven't had a chance to look at anything yet. I'll let you know tomorrow evening...
