yes, i am running low boost but its also an auto. I play it safe and am content with the stock pulley. Its a street car imo not a race car. If I want 400 hp i'll buy a vette or cobra. if you do the math 306/.80 thats 382 hp for the engine and thats plenty for my little convertible.

and i don't know if it makes a big difference but i had a bad 02 sensor on the front side when i dynoed and the guy says its drowning out the power. I replaced it and my car "seems" faster but I don't know the hp its putting out with that fixed. either way I don't want to run more boost...

yes and no. I built it for power but to still have reliability, driveability, and good mpg. where as you can't have both, I found a happy medium. But even with the low hp i have, my tire spins the whole way through 1st and fishtails 2nd even at half throttle. Why would I want more than that on a daily driver street car? My goal was to look and drive like a stock mach because I think they're cool looking. I would have bought a mach but I like convertibles for the "B's". I have reached my goal and am done with ford. Time to grow up and move on to a Chevy.

well how often do you drive WOT? If you stay out of boost, your mpg won't suffer. your guts are good to 450 (on average) and the block is the same main as the cobra i believe.
so crank the boost up and have fun...
