Default Thanks to the two Toms

Appreciate the compliments, any suggestions on a decent aftermarket exhaust? I was looking at computer chips as well, but I see a lot of the people on here do not recommend it until all the aftermarket upgrades are complete. Also, can you guys post me some pictures of your cars as well?

This is what your car would sound like with Bassani cat back at idol.

IMO forget the chip. If your going to start modding CAI and tune. Gears should also be on the priority list.

Thanks, she was smart and moved south. I'm near Rochester.

That's a sweet ride too, EvilDzl. Your rides definitely stand out nicely compared to the run of the mill Mustangs out there. Glad to be part of the Mach 1 owners club!

Exhaust - whatever sounds the best to your ears. I run VRS o/r x-pipe and Magnapacks and sounds like pure Nutella.

There's a thread that's stickied with pictures as well brah

Don't bother with a CAI. I installed a C&L intake on my Mach 1 before getting it dyno tuned. Any reputable tuner will tell you a CAI won't do much if anything unless you're making 500+ h.p.

You're better off spending money on a dyno than a preprogrammed hand-held or chip. I'm running a cat-back SLP Loud Mouth. I like the sound, plus SLP was a Tier 1 supplier to GM. They produced the previous generation Camaro SS and WS6 Ram-Air Firebirds. Their stuff is very high quality and it fits right. The owner of the muffler shop (custom fabrication/hot rod) that installed mine told me the SLP was the best fitting aftermarket exhaust he ever worked with.

You won't know what any exhaust really sounds like until you hear it in person. Go Pros, camcorders or iPhones are not high fidelity. Neither are your computer speakers.
