Default Considering buying a Mustang.

Hello, well I have owned two mustangs but itís been about 8 years since my last one. My last five cars have been Subaruís mainly because Iíve needed something very reliable, AWD, and just big enough for the kids. I just sold my Forester and Iím planning on taking public transportation for the next 8 months so I can save for a nice weekend car. My option is buying a 2000-2001 Saleen and just throwing rims on it or a 2005-2007 GT and putting a lot of money in into the GT. Iím pretty knowledgeable on Subarus so I know which models and years to stay away from because they end up have major mechanical problems. I was just wondering if the Mustangs listed above have any major problems that I should consider when buying my next Mustang in the fall.

Welcome Jackson. I live in bowie too. I drive a black 2010 gt. If I see you I'll give ya a wave. It's funny, I never noticed how many mustangs were on the road till I got one. Now I notice all of them, and we're everywhere.

Hey guys, I moved all the event threads to the event thread, so if you see yours missing that is why, I only deleted one and that had expired and had no posts. So don't fear, just look for it here.

Hey all, I figured I'd introduce myself here. I live in Calvert County, work in the Navy at NAS Patuxent River, am 27.

I'm itching to get back to driving my Mustang, I've been on a deployment for almost a year now (you can see how much time is left in my sig). I plan on heading to MIR as much as the other half allows, and I hope to see a lot of you there! I've got a few mods planned for when I get back too

In the process of taking off my white ott stripes for a cleaner look. New grille & quarter window scoops coming soon too.

My name is Martin. I live in Upper Marlboro and drive a 2006 GT Convertible. Would like to know where some hang outs are. Also, would like to know where I can have mods done to the car. I'm not a great wrench and I want the car to be a reliable driver.
