Default State Inspection question about SIDE WINDOWS

Hey ya'll

Can you pass state inspection if both your driver side and passenger side windows do not roll up? I have 30% tint and may not pass inspection because of this....So I plan on rolling both the side windows down and then disconnecting the Wire harness from the window up/down switches so that they are unable to roll them up and see that I have tint..

Is it in the books that you HAVE to have working side windows to pass inspection?

We know you have tint issues, you should of just added to that thread.

That's not a good idea because you will fail for not having windows work. I thought you said they were within legal limits, so why worry?

They may not take pictures, but if you get pulled over they know where you got your inspection sticker, and if the cop wanted to the station could get into trouble

Just say you didn't have it tinted when it was inspected. And I think you'd fail for not having the windows work, you don't know any friendly shops near you?

You definitely need to have operational windows to pass safety inspection. Your tint is only 5% darker then legal limit, I doubt you will fail because of it.
