I filled the car up with gas, yesterday...might go through most of it, so i'll fill up again sunday (i heard there could be a shortage of gas) we've got flashlights etc...the crappy part is if im actually forced to work on monday...i work in boston where they are saying flooding, up to 50mph wind & power outage will most likely happen...there have been times we had to work during major snow storms and this passed summer it was so hot it killed the power for the whole day and we still had to work whole day (thought i was gunna die from a heat stroke lol...i dont care what anybody says...if its any flooding im not goin in...because if i do and my car is damaged, they wont do jack about it

Ditto that...

I'm stocked on food, will fuel up the cars tomorrow, and then just hope for the best.

I haven't really done anything. With all their bad predictions it's hard to believe it's going to be as bad as they say. Latest looks like NY will get the worst of it anyway. I hope it's just more media hype anyway.

While I agree 100% on the poor track record of forecasters, it doesn't hurt to be at least marginally prepared. The storm doesn't have to be especially severe to take down tree limbs, and knock out power in some areas, etc.

Ok 7:30 and I saw stronger winds in a summer t-storm and more rain in an April shower. Great Hype... Forecasters must have stock in Home Depot and Stop & Shop 😜
