I have a 65 mustang fastback. been a fantasy to build it for 35 yrs. had it for 8 finally getting started. got a 351 windsor I am going to build to about 550hp natural. need to know what direction to go with the trans. I want to run hard and love the corners in washington state but need a cruise gear to go distance also. I am doing a mustang 2 front end, 4 link rear, (TCI stuff i am thinking) to keep things handling well. i have asked around some but the local trans guys are not helping one says 4R70 aod and another says old school c-4 if anyone has done anything like this please help. thanks
