the block just got decked, bored, line honed, and honed tomorrow. also finishing up balancing her tomorrow too, got started, but was getting too late. after that, assembly begins for the short block. then doing a 4 angle valve job, bowl and port job, then port matching the intake as well.. gotta love working at a machine shop.

for those who want to follow, the 306 is still getting built. but closer than before.
The final engine build will be:
Block so far has been decked, and 90 degree checked, line honed, bored, honed, deburred and some oil passages were reworked.
SRP Forged Pistons, .030" overbore
Eagle Forged I-Beam Rods
ARP Main Studs, Head Bolts, Rod Bolts
Comp Cams XE282HR 232/240 Degree Duration at .050"
Scorpion 1.727, 7/16 Stud Mount Roller Rocker Arms, .611/.621" Lift
3/8 Pushrods, Stock Valves, Comp Cams Beehive Springs
GT40P Heads, Valve job, Port Job, Brass Valve Guide Liners
Kenne Bell 2.1L, 10lbs of boost, 75mm Throttle Body and Anderson 4" Power Pipe (will get 90mm TB soon)
MSD 6AL2 Box and Pro-Billet Distributor
A9P Computer Tuned with Moates Quarterhorse.
SFI Certified Harmonic Balancer
The crank was grounded, 10/20.

i took the GT40P heads, milled down the bosses, indicated the holes on the bridgeport and now i have 7/16 stud mount roller rocker arms! its really nice having free access to a bridgeport when needed..

your comment is invalid, she has nothing to do with this.. i have no control over when the block gets honed buddy.
