Lots of pics of my supercharged 2009 GT
I waxed up the stang today, and took a bunch of pictures. This thing has come a long way in the past few months. Yes, the hood scoop is functional, and it was my mad scientist at work. There is an 8" round hole below it for ventilation purposes. I dropped my IAT and ambient temps by an average of about 25 degrees, and also my hood no longer looks like its going to fly off at high speeds. The hole is surrounded by pretty thick weatherstripping to prevent any water from reaching the engine bay, and there is also a strip at the leading edge of the scoop opening to further prevent it from getting in there in the first place. I also have some mesh in place between the heat mat and the top of the hood to prevent debris from entering. The car is a weekend toy, so none of the above is really that much of a concern anyway (IE, I over-engineered it, lol)

Hey thanks! I had many people hating on the flames when I originally had them on the sides only, and the car looked much more stockish. I kept saying I wasn't done yet. I know they won't be everyone's taste, but I really like them and I keep getting thumbs up, questions at stoplights, and props from strangers at the gas pumps, hehe.

i love the flames on ur car, the hood scoop kinda throws it out for me but to all his own. it does look great tho. i think the fact that its different is why its wierd to me, but beautiful car..
