Default Another new Mustang owner here.

Just got mine Nov. 1st
2012 V6 Man.
Base model w/one option, 3.31 gear.
Only mod is a wheel/tire swap.
Picked up some 18" 2011 GT take off wheels/tires on craigslist.
It's a daily driver, except when there is 6" of snow.
Gonna drive the crap out of it.
It replaced my 15 year old 96 Ranger that had 190,000 miles.
I hope to get at least that many miles out of new Mustang.

Welcome, where in Michigan are you located.

And mine is a daily driver, even when there is 6" (or more LOL) of snow!

I'm in the Detroit area. Salt season is here. Just got it's first good salt bath last Friday morning.

Well, Blue Oval Industries had them for about 695 for a while. I used that as leverage and got the seller down to 700. I think he had them listed for 795.

I did read about all the negative feedback B.O.I. had gotten so I stayed away from them.

Anyone here had a good or bad experience with B.O.I.?

I live just outside Port Huron, and work in Grosse Pointe - so got to see the snow and salt last week as well! Was so glad I washed the car on Thursday, just in time for the snow and salt on the drive in on Friday. Took it over and did the touchless today with the undercarriage spray so it would get some of the salt off - with a good wax job on the car this fall the touchless worked pretty good for getting the residue off the car.

You got a nice commute, glad you got the V6, eh? I commute thru the hood along the Davison a few times a week. I'm an east sider that has to get over to Livonia (Inkster & 96). If the roads are real bad I'll take the long way thru the suburbs, where they actually plow the roads.

Is your home track Ubly or Lapeer? I usually just go to Milan. Have not ben to Lapeer in several years. Never at Ubly, just heard about it.
Martin is a really cool track and Mid Michigan is nice, too.

Welcome aboard, nice car.

I really would love to see pics of the Torinos. I had a 71 for a while.
