Hey John. Thanks, glad to be home. I didn't drive the Mustang. I almost did, but glad I didn't because it rained almost our entire time in the Smoky Mountains. It would have been treacherous on those mountain roads in the Mustang.

Jack, what are you plans for the offseason (winter)? Any future mods planned?

I'm thinking of doing a complete suspension upgrade. Scott Hoag of MRT wrote about (he has a monthly column in Modified Mustangs magazine) a new suspension package they are coming out with that I want to check out. I need to get the power to the ground. And I also like to have control on the curves. No more engine mods for now though. Maybe wheels and tires if I can find a deal.

That sounds pretty sweet and probably a little expensive! I am kind of torn about what I am going to do next. Here are a few of the options I am looking at.

1. Black Stripe Kit
2. Paint my bullets black to match the stripes.
3. 4:10 FRPP gears
4.One piece driveshaft(JimC seems to love his).
5. O/R H Pipe

The stripes would be a big improvement. I personally like white stripes on red the most. I'd like to get the black DD bullitts but if you paint yours I'd like to take a look at yours first. I like my Spydershaft. It makes the car quicker by reving more freely. I'll keep the stock exhaust. After-market exhausts don't improve the S197s performance, just the sound.

Why don't you put your car in your sig? Do you have any good photos?
