detroit area summertime meet and greet

RE: Detroit area summertime meet and greet
a few things.
1. Due to liability issues, MF isnt going to be renting a track anytime soon. There are way too many excuses for people to sue me...and im not getting into that. However, if someone is setting something up, i will make it a sticky, just PM me and we can discuss it. I might even bring one of my cars out for the rest of you to beat up on... However, there is no need for people to KEEP bringing up a track day. This thread is for a nice calm meet and greet.
2. Ive written CDC, and im waiting to hear back from them.

Patrick's scared ;-) ...of getting sued... lol..who can blame him, i'd sue him the first chance I got.
I discovered that the best way to really get anything organized is to settle on the date/location as soon as possible. I know that everyone involved is working on it, and you're always going to dissapoint someone by picking a location, but not everyone is gonna make it.
Once a date is finialized, just type up a letter/email/inviataion that you can send out to people in a mass message instead of trying to contact everyone individually.
Good
