Here are newly released pics of the car. Clearly Chevy's answer to the 2008 Viper.

K, I hate to bump this crap again, but ok "droooool". That motor in a 3100lb car is very cool. But check out the "Warp 7" mustang in Jan. issue of Modified Mustangs. 7.5 sec car w/o nitrous and prob costs much less to build that that thing. Now go back to your GM sites and post there about the plastic supercar with no back seats [8D].

Yeah. OK. Brand loyalty is overrated. There is nothing wrong with showing appreciation for a well-made piece of machinery.

You're so right. I'm enamored as much as everyone else by the GM supercar. I wish Ford would get their $hit together and make a lightweight world-beater. It's totally possible.

Seems everyone that has clout with Ford wants a live-axle super-seller, hence the mustang.

Gotta admit, the S197 is the best one yet!

Same old same old. Who cares it isn't a mustang and sure the hell doesn't look as good as one either. (Fart sound for ending)

I have to agree. You can put 620 horsepower in it but it doesn't look nearly as good as Mustangs. You'd think Chevrolet would have come up with a better looking car for $100,000.00 starting price.
