Hey Roush, it looks like your dealer's 5k markup might be a 'good' deal. I talked to the sales mgr today at a huge ford dealership, and they are getting 10k over sticker on their pre-orders. Amazing.

I already heard that also locally. Another big local place said $10k down non refundable and ar least $10k over MSRP! I said F-U!
My dealer actually said it could be 2k, 5k or 0k over MSRP, all depending on ther allocation.

The thing that really sucks is that if someone buys the car for 5k over sticker, the minute he/she drives it off the lot, thast 5k is lost forever. I would call EVERY SINGLE ford ealer in the country before I shelled out 5k for a 'dealer adjustment cost'

hey do you think it is a good idea to start saving money, put it in the bank and by time they come out have about 25k-30k for a down payment, that way the monthly payments are cheep? i really really want one, how cool would it be to be 19 and have a gt500

88- it seems like you better get on a list now to be able to get one. I bet this is gonna be one hard car to get if you don't get in the game early.

Also, at 19, with a car of this caliber, can you IMAGINE what your insurance is gonna be? It'd rape you!

I dunno, if you've got the money, go for it... but there's plenty of us who know we can't afford it and we're not letting it get us down. We'll admire the others.
