Car and driver says 39g, but I don't believe it. Even if it is that "cheap" then it will be marked up as "limited availabilty", by 5 or 10g.
Well, a slight mark-up of 5k wouldn't be TOO bad...[sm=rolleyes.gif] "C"

Motor Trend 05/05- "coming to market some time in calendar year 2006 as a 2007 model.", "no IRS", "Best guess? $40k-$45k."

Automobile 06/05- "a 450 plus-hp 2007 production model you'll be able to purchase in fall of '06 for less than $40,000.", "the same old live axle stuck under Grandpa's Crown Vic."

Car and Driver 07/05- "Our guess for this one is $39,000.", "475hp/450tq"

I think it will be brought out at £39k but with huge mark ups by the dealerships, my guess would be around 44-45k!

Cmon folks, you really think this car will come in under or at 40k? Back in '2002 all the way thru 2004 a 2003 Cobra was priced at 36K. So now, several years later, a limited production car comes out with more ***** and new body style and it's only gonna go up 4k? I don't think so. Folks, plan to spend 41-45K to get your hands on one of these, and I really think it will be above 45k,just that 50k from Ford just doesn't sound right for a stang....

Looks like it will be about 39k, I don't think the mark ups will be that much, due to the fact that Ford is now stripping the heck out of the show car for production, smaller wheels, no twin screw S/C, smaller brakes, no IRS and who knows what they will strip out next. There are a few people that wanted it because of the twin screw S/C, and now they probably won't buy it. I heard somewhere that HTT is going to make 13k cars this year, so it's not gonna be a limited production run, hell they might make more, mostly you'll see a lot of people buying, hoping they will go up in value like the 60's Shelby's, but thats not gonna happen, because if Ford is smart, they'll just keep rollin em out the door at 39k and people will keep buying them.
