What is your point. Do you wish you had a S-197. Only thing I want from the 2-valve is that great sound.

Im not a big fan at all of the rears of the 10' . I park my 06 next to my buddies 69 and the rears have that same defined tail light look. The 10's rears are to rounded and the fact that all the tailights are arent rectangle just drives me nuts! -Jon

Only thing you need to know.........mid-pipe mufflers. They're the only reason the 2V's sound better than ours. The axleback muffler setup on the S197 kills much of the throatiness of the exhaust tone. Put you some pre-axle mufflers (Pypes makes some) and you'll have that sweet sound too.

i'm not all that impresses with the exterior. I do like the interior of the 10's though. i like the extra steering wheel controls.

I wouldn't trade my sn for the world. Yeah sure the 197 is obvious a good bit faster but I love the styling of the sn95. My next car is going to be a 96-98 4v. I just love the look and sound of these cars and the power of the cobra's 4v.

Buts its all prefernce. I feel the newer "muscle" cars are too refined. Which is nice. Buts its like driving an Audi with rwd and a nice v8. They are too refined for me. I wanna feel all that power and I don't need all the luxurys in my muscle car.

But again its just a matter of opinion. What some like may not be what others do and I respect that.

I dont care for the back, but LOVE the front...but thats just me. I do think that Ford has under powered the Mustang again....but also like stated in another post Ford made cars for the average American, that the average American could buy so I see why they dont have as much power. More power, more money, higher insurance.

Or perhaps the purposely underestimate the actual horsepower of the Mustang.

I'll agree with bpark that these new musclecars are becoming too refined. But I don't really have a problem with that at the end of the day. If it keeps buyers interested in these cars, and Detroit's teams get to keep making them.......I'm more than happy to take all the civility out and add the old school punishment back in.
