So color me confused but is anyone else wondering what happened to the 2011 GT announcement?

The 2011 V6 will be out this spring. Leaving Ford to run dual MY at the same time?

I was really expecting both announcements for the LA Auto Show but now Ford looks content to remain quiet on the GT.

Thoughts?

They still have some 2010s on the lot to sell and they don't want demand to fall off the face of the earth once you learn just how much the 2011 blows it's doors off.

I heard they will reveal the 2011 GT In January at the Detroit Auto Show. Yeah they suck. Its all but true anyway... U think they will really let a 2011 V6 have as much HP as a 2011 GT? 5.0 here we come! I can't wait to hear all the goodies you can get with it though.

Yep, heard First week of this month as well for the GT announcement. Oh well, everything always changes until the very last minute.

Yeah, I think Ford took a look at it's existing 2010 GT inventory and knowing how performance oriented the GT crowd is vs the V6 crowd, figured it would keep those details under its hat for now. Most V6ers don't care about the new specs for 2011 over the 2010 but the GT owners definietly will.
