I love the way the 05 Mustangs look. Who doesnt? But, I've always been a fan of the Coupe over the hatchback, except w/the Fox 5.0's.
I was told that there was a Coupe in the works at Ford. This completely untrue or does anybody have anything to back this up?

That'd be that first I've ever heard of it.

There has been strong rumors however, of the '06 or '07s coming with T-tops though.

what the hell are you people talking about? the 05 is already a coupe. I've yet to see a hatchback 05. they all have a trunk, just like the 99-04's. or do you define hatchback as something other than "a car with a hatchback"?

I think they mean fast back. And by coupe there talking about a notch back.

check out nov 05 muscle mustangs page 40 under "horse's mouth" oops researched so fast did not notice that yours was 05 . i keep thinking that that great color only came on my 03---tops for 99-04

i think the fact that they call the new mustangs "coupes" pretty much rules out a true "coupe" style mustang. if they were called fastbacks, then i could see a REAL coupe being made...

because what do they call the coupe if there is already a coupe that is actually pretty much a fastback?
