2015 stang

I don`t know? My 3.7`s weak point is off the line with 60`s at about 2.2 sec. I get no wheelspin with the auto and 3.55`s so I don`t know how to improve that. This engine just is weak below 3000 rpm. If the turbo 4 provided more low end and a little weight advantage I might go for it. I really don`t care how many cylinders I have if it preforms. I drive verts so I can`t go faster than 13.5 and that engine with a slightly lighter car just might be the ticket. We`ll see!!!

Everybody freaks when they hear 4 cylinder. I hate to say it but its happened before and further more, I sure they will keep the V8 they have made the mistake of taking it away before and they suffered for it.
If they 4 sales more stangs and helps meets cafe and keeps hot rod V8s around it doesnt bother me one bit.
I mean that is a pretty hot 4 if it could actually get 310hp.
I have to say though that is one of the best looking rederings for the 2015 that I have seen yet, its still needs some work on the lights though. I am excited for the 2015s because it might have a swappable and strong IRS system and I should be in the market for 2 Mustangs around that time.

100% agree being on the v6 end and get all the bs from v8 owners lol, so 4 cyl turbo, mm could be worse lol; i see it as they dont make my payments so eff em, and on top that my 6 or 4 cyl turbo will wipe some v8s.

I, for one, would be happy to see a 4 cylinder back in the line-up. Then not only will Ford be able to play nicer with the world and give me money back in stock price, but also...who even cares if you don't like it.
This is like arguing that priuses shouldn't exist...who gives a s***, it's not like it changes my decision on what car I want to buy....

This kind of goes back to judging others for how they spent their money.
A 310hp 4 banger is pretty damn impressive so if they did pull it off, hats off to FoMoCo engineers. If you can't respect that (regardless of auto manufacturer), then you're a little narrow-minded.
Look at it this way: how does a 310hp turbo I4 dillute the Mustang name? Surely a 200hp turbo I4 would, but if it can compete with stock 3V 4.6s AND get better consumption, who's complaining?
The archaic V8 or nothing dick measuring contest will never die so long as we have people that refuse to join the rest of us in the 21st century.
Get on the band wagon to progress because the auto industry will keep moving forward. Though, I'm sure there will always be room for the classics so long as oil doesn't hit $10/gallon usd.
