Yes, the face of the 2018 Ford Mustang looks awfully sad. Is it sad because it no longer comes with a V6 engine option? Who can say. But there is good news: a new 10-speed automatic gearbox, new colors, and best of all, a magnetic ride suspension.

It's either bring their fleet up closer to the standards and use the credits for over-achieving models where they can to help the under achieving models or, do away with the under achieving models altogether.
I'd rather have a 4 or 6 cylinder ecoboost with as much or more power than a V8 and still be able to get the car I want (with a compromise on the engine) vs seeing something like the Mustang or F-150 going bye-bye because it becomes a liability.
The Ecoboost outsold the V8 and v6 in the US and the V8 outsold the Ecoboost and V6 in Europe. Funny how that worked out
