Obviously you do care. Otherwise, you would have called this thread quits long ago. Truth is, Ford has an edge over GM right now with respect to one, I repeat, one car (wow, that's really going to hurt GM's bottom line). Truth also is that Chevy will be producing a Z06 Vette that should outrun the GT, which is heavier than my C5. I won't even discuss the supervette. It seems you did a flip flop in your comparison somwhere with the Cobra to the GT.You originallystated this,and I quote; "As for the new mustang cobras,ford it self has said NO MORE will the cobra be compared with the camaro,the cobra is after the vette and the 2003 svt cobra is just a hint of things to come." donteventry...when i said i didnt care it was because i dont care to get into another dam discussion about the vettes me and you have both talked it to death.As for me flip flopping about things i was talking about alot of things such as the shelby cobra the cobra and the ford gt and as you said in your own post when you quoted me i was in that comparing the vette and cobra but own3dbyyou was wondering how i thought the cobra had the edge in performance.I told him i was refering to the ford gt when i said ford had the edge.

He said GM, not just Chevy. GM also has Pontiac which is producing a supercharged Grand Prix GTP, a V8 Bonneville GXP, and the 350 V8GTO. Chevy has the supercharged Monte Carlo SS, Impala SS and Corvette C6, in 06 it'll have the Z06 model. All of the V8 cars are capable of mid 13s from the factory, while the supercharged V6s are worthy of low 15s and maybe high 14s.</P>

own3dbyyou.....Please the ford gt is all but finished its already been road tested compared and anything else you can name in magizines and the only thing left is its top speed.All the mustangs are slower than the 2002 camaros have you forgotten the mach1 cause it blows your dam little 13.7 away they run low 13's so bite me.The vette beats the cobra by 0.2 wow thats pretty close.</P>

The monte carlo and the impala are the same dam car and the monte is a piece of crap.So putting an ss on makes it special wow must stand for Super Shi**y.His remarks were about ford and chevy cause if he was refering to ford as a whole then we are talking about aston martin and others.The comment i made about them only having chevy or even gm only having the vette is like he said about the ford gt its the only car gm has that really sets a performance standard.</P>

Damn Vette aye? Your jealousy shows. In my comments, I was referring to the fact that one mere car is not going to really hurt GM as you seem to think it will. After all, Ford needs to hold the crown every once in a while. It's been almost 30 years since they've had a true performance car. I don't believe I ever disputed the awesomeness of the GT. As far as Chevy cars go, the Impala SS is quite anasty ride that Chevy produces. The Camaro was awesome as well. It's ashame the General scrapped it, but mark my words; It will be back. Want another Gm car? What about the Cadillac XLR? What about the Vauxhall VX220? What about the Pontiac GTO? I could go on and on, but I'm sure you would call them all crappy cars, as you seem to be the expert on all makes and models of cars. You seem to be too brand loyal, and have been brainwashed into believing Ford makes the best of everything. It's simply not the case.</P>

Donteventry....I will gladly admit im brand loyal but i in no way have made the remark that fords makes the best.the gto has a nice power plant i admit,but i do believe the car is self does not look good at all.Again that comment was refering to chevy only as i assume yours about the gt was about ford only.Come now dont tell me you really believe i think for makes the best everything.I hope it was just a little comment you said trying to be cocky.
