Jesus the interior on that thing is just SWEET. If they put that thing anywhere near Mustang GT prices I think I might aquire one... that car is seriously the best looking of the retro styling so far.. and 425 hp... wow. It will probaby be well over 40k though

40k??? im thinking more like GT pricing for the V6 model and around 33k for the V8....
i could be way off my rocker but i think i read those figures in a car magazine a few days ago...could of been for something else but yeah....
i could never see it go for 40k....muscle cars historically havent costed a ton of money...affordable performance is the mustangs mission statement...hopefully its similar for another muscle car.

RE: Challenger at the Detroit Auto show
actually i believe i heard those figures as a estimate for the new camaro if it goes into production....the camaro and challenger have similar lines.....they did back in the classic era too so oh well i guess.....but still.....i really hope these go into production because competition is good....both for fun...and for pricing.....once the camaro and challenger take market share away from the mustang u will see prices drop a bit maybe...and a rekindling of a whole lot of fun...muscle car wars 2..... :-D

That new Chally looks good. All they have to do is build it.
$38-40K wouldn't surprise me at all.
Even in 1970, those cars were NOT cheap if they were dressed out and had a big block in them.
Hemi Chally was probably $4000 minimum in '70 and more likely $4500+
Hemi option was about $900 and the car base price was about $2400. Best deal was 440/6bbl, that deal was only about $275 extra.
I know something about those cars as I owned at least 1 for 23 years.

I think it will be similar in price to the charger.. and the r/t charger with the 6.1 is almost 39 right now..... I hope they can get it 35 or less... but probably not gonna happen.
