What is a stage 1 SRT-4? He didn't do that bad against a C5 with a 100 shot.

LT1 you will have to tell me the stock times for a c5, as I dont know, but a stage one SRT-4 should only be good for like a 13.5 or so. If that. All it is is a package from dodge. It increases the boost with the stock turbo and does a few other things, nothing major. I think it costs under 2k, unless I am rembering way off.

I dont see how a stage 1 (with nothing else) SRT-4 could stay with a C5 with a 100 shot, that just doesnt sound right. Shouldnt a C5 with that be at least at a 13.0 ?

Unless the C5s were way slower than I think, I dont see how that one had a 100 shot.

comon? a 13 second flat car with the addition of a 100 shot only had a car on him? I think he was more or less pacing that SRT4...

Yea, what Owned said. You were right 2000 about the 13 flat. Add 100hp to that and it should be deep in the 12's. Unless that SRT-4 had WAY more done to it, something is up.

why is he a dumbass? Seems to me it was a setup race, meaning they were probably just having fun racing each other...Everyone always turns that into a life and death competition where the slower guy is always a ****ing retard or something.

They're probably good friends and just want to see what the SRT4 had, slower yes, but it's getting there. I'm sure theres a bunch of 12 second SRT4s out there right now.

Honestly...I just think the Vette either paced him or didn't use his n20 to see what the SRT4 had against him.

First off those SRT are pretty quick and can whip most stock stangs. Yea sorry to hurt some of your guys egos. I drive 2 stangs and my 2 cars run pretty good but when my 91 GT vert was Bone Stock it best at 95Mph and a time of 14.6 . He would beat me . Wow ! So if i had a 13.5 Stang and raced that C5 would i be a Dumb @ss? Probally no one would say anything other then good kill for the vette. Those guys might not be driving a GT stang or a ZO6 but doesnt mean they are any less cause of it. Bet his gas mileage is nice. Also its probally a 1/8th mile mark when they pass the camera and the Vetter had almost 2 cars on him . So even if the Neon does 13.5 and that vette does 13.2 would make them almost even at half track so i think he was using the 100 shot. Driver makes a big differnce you all no this .Plus it makes a diifernce if he has a bottle warmer and if its a wet or dry kit. Just cause he has a 100 shot doesnt automatically mean he just got 100 more HP. There is forum racing and then there is street racing and in street racing stuff happens.
