1997 Cobra For Sale. Very Nice w/ new parts
1997 Ford Mustang Cobra
I bought this car to be my baby. I really do love it, but I am in need of a nice family car with more space than the Cobra. The cobra gets about 17mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. This car has been babied since the day it was purchased new. The oil was changed every 1500 miles by the original owner, and I continued that tradition when I bought it. I will keep the car if I cannot get at least $7250 out of it so please do NOT send me offers for less than that. It's just not worth selling to me if I cant get at least that much. If you'd like to make an offer to end the auction, please let me know and I'd be more than willing to consider it.
I can get more pics if you are interested in purchasing the car.
The exterior of the car is 8.5/10. The guy who owned it before me bumped a pole at a mall, and it cracked the hood. He replaced the hood and had it repainted, but the paint has a few imperfections in the very front of the hood. It's unnoticable unless you know where and what to look for.
The interior is 9/10. It as NO rips, stains, tears, NOTHING. It is black leather that has less than average wear.
Mechanically 10/10. The car doesnt leak, smoke, or make any noises. It starts every time and runs very smooth all the time. It has 104k miles on it, but I would have never believed it until I saw the odometer myself. It looks like it has 10k on it. There is NO oil or grim on any part of the exterior of the motor! The only remote problem is that sometimes the ebrake cable sticks if it was previously engaged. As long as you dont use the ebrake a lot, it wont ever stick. All it needs is a new parking brake cable which is very easy and cheap to install.
I just had the following BRAND NEW parts installed:
---FRPP King Cobra Clutch
---Kevlar Throwout bearing
---Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel
---FRPP Aluminum Driveshaft
---Rear pinion seal
---New Autolite 764 Copper Core Plugs
---2 new o2 sensors
---UPR Single Catted Xpipe
---Aftermarket Catback system
---17" Polished 03-04 Cobra Rims
---New 'General Tire' 245/45/17 tires
---Sony Xplod CD Player
---Sony Xplod 6x8 4-Way speakers.
---Oil Seperator
---03-04 "SVT" Tach vinyl
All these parts have less than 200 miles on them.
The car also has some type of aftermarket catback that sounds great. The previous owner couldnt remember, but it sounds great, decently loud and a great tone. It sounds much better now with xpipe. It also came with a "COBRA" vinyl 3rd brake light cover that looks pretty nice.
The brakes are in good condition.
The car has an Interstate battery installed. I do not know when it was replaced, but it was sometime before I had it.
Car is ready to go. Asking $7350 OR BEST OFFER. I WILL CONSIDER ANY REASONABLE OFFER!!!
I can help arrange for shipping or meet you somewhere. I'd be more than happy to drive to meet you anywhere for some $$$. I'll drive anywhere in the 48 states for the right price. Shipping can be arranged but it will cost about $800.
