Coming over from the "dark side"
...as many of you would call it - I traded my daily driver 2011 Camaro LS (the base model V6) in on a 2009 Bullitt on new years to start the year off right! I'm not a bias car buyer; I collect all domestics as well as Mercedes and Porsche, so this trade had nothing to do with buyers remorse. I absolutely loved the Camaro and the V6/6 speed manual performance exceeded my expectations but the Porsche groan of the Holden-inspired V6 didn't match the muscular appearance of the car. Besides, I like my muscle cars to have muscle! So after a happy year and a half with the Camaro I knew it had to go before I started to take a hit on it. When I was in the market for my Camaro I looked at used 2010 base models and saw that they depreciated the least so I bought the base knowing I wouldn't keep it very long (I usually buy low production cars only). I only lost 2k on the Camaro almost 2 years and 8k miles later and got the Bullitt for 24k. Enough of the background story, here's some pictures of #5919
She is fully loaded except for navigation and has 14k miles. I'll be driving it daily as long as the roads are clear of snow (I have an Alpha Hummer for that!). Haven't had it long enough to do any mods yet; windows were already tinted from previous owner so all it needed was a fresh coat of wax! I have lots of small removable mods planned for the Bullitt when I get back to the states (live in the Virgin Islands as well so the car is sitting for a while!) but in the mean time all I can do is talk about it on MF...thanks for looking and sorry if this thread is a little wordy!

Welcome to the forums man, hope you decide to hang on to the stang, have a pretty inviting community here, with an endless supply of great information.
Everyone on here is pretty friendly for the most part. Unless of course you post wrong things in the wrong section. Because if so, that makes you a communist!
