Hey all,
Just picked up a 2013 GT/CS Racing Red. I used to have a Speed 6 which ran rather well, but I just loved the looks of the new mustang.
So I caved in, sold the speed and got a much better car!!
So, as luck would have it, I was driving home last night and keeping extra distance (8 plus car lengths)
between me and the pickup truck ahead of me, I hear this shot.
Sounded like a .22 cal low load shell!! I looked over at the passenger
windshield and there was a check in the glass about the size of a quarter!
The truck had threw a pretty good size stone as he accelerated quickly into
the slower lane to make a turn. That caused the stone to get flung out from his treads.
Boy, was I pissed. I don't think there was any profanity that I left to be
said!! I covered all of the words and I think I even created a few new ones!!
Anyway, the car went to Safelite Autoglass for repair. Not sure if I like the repair. You can still see where the stone hit!
There was only 184 miles on the car when it happend.
I guess stuff happens..
Once I figure out how to post pics, I'll put a few up.
Talk to you all later.

Welcome, from a fellow hellaware resident..
The windshield is a fairly weak link unfortunately, 2 S197's now(06 and 08 GT), and on each I had the windshield replaced once. Just has to hit a certain way even with a smaller stone and you have a nice chip/crack to deal with.
