Getting back into the game
Well I have had my '67 Coupe since 2001, and I had the floorboards replaced and put in a new carpet. Then, we started a family and Birdie got put in the garage for about 8 years. So now I have her back out and I am ready to play again. She is fully stock, I am the 5th owner, and she only has 75,000 miles on it (I'm not sure if that's rolled over, the engine is completely original). She even still has her original windshield wiper fluid bladder.
We would start it and run it every couple of months or so, but never took it anywhere - too lazy to register it.
I used to work on cars with my dad, and I had a real POS when I was stationed in Germany mid-90s and used to work on it all the time - I even replaced the CV joints on it myself (you should be impressed? I impressed myself - I am, after all, a girl).
So now I get to relearn how to work on cars again. I'm a little nervous joining this forum because I am going to ask some really basic questions and I know I will sound like an idiot. I'm the type of person that learns by doing.
First on the list is giving Birdie a tune-up, checking her bearings, and changing her oil-basic, I know. I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty!
I am glad I found this website and I am looking forward to soaking up everybody's knowledge like a sponge.

Welcome to the forums and good to see another Washington Mustang! What part of Washington? If your around the Seattle/Tacoma area and interested in learning more about your car come check out one of our Mustangs Northwest meetings. We do a lot of events though out the year car shows, cruises, charity events etc.
A few of us will actually be at the Griots Garage cruise in to day, and just about every Friday if the sun happens to be out. They are located at: 3333 S 38th St, Tacoma, WA 98409 the cruise in's go from 5pm to 7pm.
If you come out to the event to night look for the Gotta Have it Green GT 5.0, its normally the only one have not encountered another one in Washington yet. It's always packed next to a Black Mustang Convertible.
