Johnboy72: Another Noob
Well found this site due to first couple I found off google were kind of dry and lame. Seems like this one has more activity to research. Been a Ford guy my whole life mainly. Always wanted a Mustang but been pretty much into the truck scene. My mother in law sent her Mustang into Ford for an oil change and ended up buying a used one they just got in off trade. I think it was the looks and the sound of it. But she plans on turning it over to me when I return from Afghanistan. I try to convince her that it's her car and only mine when I return on leave...but she thinks she'll be ready for something different by that time...so I guess I can't say no. So looking at the car, there's a laundry list of things I'm wanting to do...like first thing, removing the fake advertisement on it. Also, kind of stuck as I don't know what has been done to it fully. I only have a couple of pics to go off of as now, but I can tell ya I'm stuck with the hood and the side exhaust. So thinking I might look into the GT500 nose, different rear spoiler (maybe a GT500 as well), shave all badges, flush quarter glass blacked out, rear trunk filler of some sort, and then smoke all the lights. I'm also thinking this car needs some black rims like the SVE Drift wheel. I'm wanting to get the looks of the car right first which seems all backwards to me. But since the car has a reliable drivetrain (used to working on old trucks) and the exterior isn't fully done, might start there.
I'll try to get some better pics, but this is what my mother in law sent me as soon as she got it home.

Thanks guys, this site is already useful, now I'm seeing many different Mustangs and learning some tricks/tips. Being a truck guy, I just want to shave it, bag it and drag it. I'm trying not to do anything too drastic to the car, but improving a little here and there.
