My cooling fan in my 1998 V6 Mustang will not cut on at all. It was all the way on the "L", almost over heated. I had to turn the car off for it to cool down. I just replaced the Motor itself for the fan. I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions are welcome. I need to get her back on the road soon.

Hi, welcome. There should be a switch /sensor that control your fan.Post your questions in tech section. will get more responses.

What made you think the motor was bad? You do understand the basics of an automotive electrical system...?

There a fuse, relay, and cooling fan switch (aka Coolant temperature switch) switch that are part of your cooling fan circuit. If you don't know what I'm talking about, pick up a Haynes or Chilton repair manual and start there. They have a troubleshooting guide to walk you through the process.

Don't throw parts at it. It's expensive and frustrating.
