Default "Cheap" way to speed up my V6?

I have a 2000 V6 manual and am not sure what exactly to do to speed it up. I want to keep it as a summer driver, so I don't want to remove anything. I've been told an engine swap or a turbo/supercharger but I'm not sure how much all of that costs. Any help with how I can make my mustang faster would be great!

Cheap? Nitrous. Easiest? FI. Lately there have been more than a few good used Vortech kits for sale, with everything except the fuel pump/tune for sale for around 15-1800. So for around 2500 you would put down around 260rwhp (Or about the same as a bolt on 2v, for much less cost than selling yours and buying one. Since Im sure some V8 nutswinger will say thats all you can do).

Another way would be to put in a different rear differential, with a traction-lock and 3.73 gears. That will add a lot to feel, but retain some mpg.

What is an Fl? And $2500 is out of my price range right now. That's why I really don't want to look at an engine swap.

Heell yea. Spraaaay the bitch til she pops! FI is forced induction. Turbos and super chargers fall into this catagory.

What is your price range? Other thing to look for would be a complete rearend from a GT/Cobra/mach... the 8.8. Has a trac-lok, and most have a nice gearset. Same cost as installing in your 7.5, but much better.

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you.

If you use the search and look up what people have done before to those 6's, you'll get a good idea of what you can afford. But be prepared, speed costs money.
