Default Exhaust or Cold Air intake?

2013 mustang gt

I need some help deciding....which mod would you chose and why?

New catback exhaust replacing the stock muffler or CAI without a tune to replace the stock filter.

You would have more of a performance gain with a CAI over an axle back. Most CAI will require a tune and actually should be done at the same time to get the most performance out of the vehicle. Axle backs offer little to no gain in HP it simply just changes the sound of your exhaust note.

Welcome. A CAI with a tune will positively change the way your stang behaves. It will wake up the engine and put a smile on your face.

I'd go with the axlebacks before the CAI. Then after you start enjoying the sound of your car you will want to improve the fun of the new sound with a tune so your car goes as fast as it sounds. Then a CAI would be last or with the tune.
