Default My new Mustang

Hello Everyone:

Well I did it I went and bought my first Mustang!!! 2015 and I named her Ruby Sue. I've always been a Mustang girl since my parents owed a 1964 convertible.Anyway I seem to be having a little issue and i wanted someones opinion first before i called the Ford dealership. On the Information Display Control key im having an issue getting back to the main menu. Was checking my tire pressure and tried to go back to main menu by following what it says to do in the Manuel. I press the left arrow button (escape button) however it wont take me back. However i can use the the left arrow button through the sub menus just fine. I hope im not doing anything wrong! Could someone please give me some advise.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum, congrats & good luck with the new ride.
Ruby Sue because it's Ruby Red ?
Can't help you with your menu issues, as I don't have a 15 MY.
If you bought it from a dealer, they should have showed you how to use the various menus..................& still can.

Thanks for the info. Funny thing is I bought her at a Chev Dealership in Naples, I'm going to give Ford a call and see if they can possibly tell me if im doing anything wrong. I dont think i am because like i said the button works fine when im in all the sub menus just it wont let me go back to the main menu. It really bugs me.

Welcome to the forum.

I'd think the dealer would be more than happy to assist you with this. Free of charge....

Congrats on your '15...... post up some pics if you have time.

Hi orangepeel notch

Thanks i called and got a appointment next week. I told them Ruby is still under the original warranty plus i have the extended warranty, so im hoping this isnt going to cost me anything. It yerks me however i did notice about 2 months ago it was doing the same thing however it went back to the main menu after like a minute of pressing the back button.

Welcome aboard and enjoy your Mustang.

You can try unhooking the battery for 5-10 minutes to see if that resets the display.

When pressing the left button (back button) it should take you back to a list of other options not in the sub menu that you were just searching. You then toggle up or down to get to the next sub menu which probably contains the "main" menu you were searching for in the first place.
